# Use calendar and mail context

> Connect your day to the thoughts and people already in Tuck.

Tuck can connect more than one calendar or mailbox.

Supported connection patterns in the current product include Apple, Google, Microsoft, Fastmail, Proton through ICS, CalDAV, and IMAP depending on the account type.

## Calendar context

When you capture during a meeting, Tuck can guess the meeting you are in and let you choose another event if the guess is wrong.

Invitees can seed your People list, which makes `@mentions` more useful later.

## Mail context

Pulled mail stays as context. Tuck does not automatically turn every email into a saved thought.

This keeps your vault from becoming a copy of your inbox.
