# Your first 10 minutes

> A simple tour of Tuck without over-organizing it.

Try this once before you decide how you want to organize everything.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Capture three thoughts">
    Add one idea, one thing you need to do, and one thing you want to remember.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add a tag">
    Type a tag directly into a thought, such as `#travel` or `#customer`.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Mention a person">
    Type `@` and choose someone, or create them as you go.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create one brain">
    Create a brain for a real area of your life or work. Keep Inbox as the place where unorganized thoughts land.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Try another view">
    Switch from Stream to Columns, Calendar, or Kanban to see the same thoughts from a different angle.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set one reminder">
    Turn a thought into something Tuck should bring back to you later.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>If you are spending more time organizing than capturing, simplify. Tuck works best when capture stays fast.</Tip>
