# Capture by SMS

> Text Tuck when texting is the fastest capture tool available.

Paid plans with SMS enabled can verify a phone number and use Tuck's shared SMS number for capture and reminders.

## Set it up

In Tuck Settings, verify your phone number with the six-digit code Tuck sends you.

After verification, texts from that phone can be routed to your Tuck account.

## Use SMS naturally

Send the thought as a normal text. Actionable messages can become todos, and timed messages can schedule a reply on SMS without a Tuck client being open.

## Opt out and resume

Tuck supports the standard SMS commands **STOP**, **START**, and **HELP**.
