# Use Tuck on iPhone and iPad

> Capture quickly, unlock with Face ID, and keep the same encrypted vault with you.

The native Tuck app for iPhone and iPad uses the same account, vault format, and capture grammar as the web app.

## Sign in and unlock

1. Sign in with a passkey or an email link.
2. If your account already has a vault, unlock it with the same vault passphrase.
3. After the first unlock, Face ID can make later unlocks faster according to your lock settings.

Do not create a second vault on your phone.

## Quick capture

Use Quick Tuck from the app, widgets, Shortcuts, or the Action button to get a thought into Tuck with as few taps as possible.

## Share into Tuck

Use the iOS share sheet to send text, links, and supported files from another app into Tuck.

<Note>The first mobile release is capture-first. Some web-only experiences, including calendar and mail connectors, the full rich editor, theme studio, and kanban, are intentionally not rebuilt on iPhone or iPad yet.</Note>
